In Breach, Eric O'Neill exhibits tenacity, resourcefulness, self-sacrifice, and patriotism - in defense of his country. Seems like he got a lot from his father. He really does get on the boat, do his job, and come home.
Eric shares some of the love and grace that he was given with his new surrogate father - Robert Hanssen. Although the relationship is riddled with deceit, doesn't some get through? Robert appears broken at the end of the movie, afraid and asking for prayers. Let's pray for this spy gone bad. Perhaps he can start anew.
